Welcome to the new exclusive interview series, called "My Intro..."! This series will be the first introduction for many talented up and coming artist out of the coldest country out, Canada!

 

The fourth feature of the year comes from Toronto MC SNAPZ KUSH, as he introduces himself, what brought him to Hip Hop and where he plans on bringing it. Read on. 

 

 

IceBurghSociety.com: Where are you from?

 

SNAPZ KUSH: I was born in Toronto, but because of my surroundings, I moved out to Brampton and was raised there in that suburban environment.

 

IceBurghSociety.com: What got you into Hip Hop?

 

SNAPZ KUSH: Finally got enough things piled up on my plate to express and talk about in my lyrics, so the freedom of expression got me involved in Hip Hop.

 

IceBurghSociety.com: How would you describe yourself as an artist?

 

SNAPZ KUSHI would describe myself as a Rockstar, just trying to find the fine lines in being different. It's easy to be a product of your environment, but it's harder to differ and trendset.

 

IceBurghSociety.com: What led to your style of delivery and beat-selection?

 

SNAPZ KUSHHonestly, I'm trying out so many new things with my style that there isn't any particular "type" of sound I look for, as long as it BANGS!! then I can body it.

 

IceBurghSociety.com: How do you think you differ from other artists?

 

SNAPZ KUSHBecause i'm Snapz Kush, my story is different and its what my music is based on and around. It's really the biggest thing making me different.

 

IceBurghSociety.com: Who influenced your style?

 

SNAPZ KUSH: G-Herbo / Wiz Kahlifa.

 

IceBurghSociety.com: What ‘s the most important item in your music collection?

 

SNAPZ KUSH: My Bose Boothtooth speakers and headphones. They honestly keep me sane.

 

IceBurghSociety.com: Dead or alive, who would be your dream collaboration?

 

SNAPZ KUSHTupac. I honestly belive we could of dropped a world wide generation changing track.

 

IceBurghSociety.com: What's the most successful or highest point in your career?

 

SNAPZ KUSH: Honestly Linking up with Party With The Majors at London Music Hall, and them bringing me on stage to open with them for the Snoop Dogg concert. I got my first crowdsurf off that hype set and my fan base has grew.

 

IceBurghSociety.com: Any Final Shout-Outs?

 

SNAPZ KUSH: Shout-out first my sons, Isaac and Xavier. THG my brothers! Shout-out my pops, Clive Mcnabb, rest in peace! R.I.P. Khoi, Aaron, French. Evolution Clothing, got some work with them coming soon! #PARTYWITHTHEMAJORS, Squartownbiz Studios, LONDON and ALL THE FANS AND SUPPORTERS.
